To make the most of this opportunity, stitchers are encouraged to participate in Canvas Embellishment at both shops!
It is not a requirement that you purchase your canvas at Aristeia and Needle Nook, however threads for your class canvases do need to be purchased at the shop where you work on it.
Canvas and threads are at a cost in addition to the class fees
We kindly ask that you support the shops that are hosting Laura’s event! Canvases must be medium size and current in the artist’s/designer’s catalog. Photos of selected canvases (one for each shop) must be emailed to Laura by August 1.
A full stitch guide will not be written in advance for class canvases. Laura will begin class with one or two thread and stitch suggestions. Remaining stitches and thread choices will be made throughout the duration of the class.
Monday, September 28 is the day to travel from Santa Monica to La Jolla. Some will drive, some will hire a driver, some will take the train. Transportation to and from any of these events and all expenses including travel, lodging, meals and all needlepoint supplies will be the responsibility of the participant. Those who fly to Los Angeles for the event will then fly home after the class in La Jolla from the San Diego Airport.
The Class Fee is payable to Laura Taylor. It does not include costs for needlepoint canvas, threads, supplies or any other expenses.
Class Fee for September 25 – 27 at Aristeia is $300.00
Class Fee for September 29 – October 1 at Needle Nook of La Jolla is $400.00
