Surrounded by mountains with the pristine waters of Whitefish Lake at their back door and all the amenities of a full-service resort, the Lodge provides the perfect location for our stitching retreat in scenic northwest Montana.

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake has reserved a block of rooms at reduced rates for our event. Rates are for single or double occupancy.

What’s included in the Stitch and SightSee Package:

Could be the local family rodeo, a barbecue at a working ranch or a performance at the regional Theater in Flathead Valley. We’re too far out to make definite plans, but know that it will be an evening not to be missed!

• Half-day driving tour of Glacier National Park.

Start the tour in the great cedar and hemlock forests that lie within the Lake McDonald Valley. Traverse the famed Going-to-the-Sun Road to the high alpine region of the park and stand on top of the Continental Divide. Discover incredible mountain ranges, glaciers, waterfalls, and wildflowers along the way as your Red Bus glides along the glacially carved Garden Wall.

Cost for the Stitch and SightSee Package: $3575

This cost is for one participant in the needlepoint class, welcome reception, breakfast on August 28, lunches on class days and planned group activities. Activities and order of events may change at Laura’s discretion.

What’s not included in the package:

Airfare, ground transportation, hotel and associated charges, gratuities, meals (except lunches on class days and Welcome Breakfast). Tickets for activites and meals available for additional charge for spouse and/or friend with advance registration.

Payments and Cancellation Policy. Please read carefully.

You will receive an email confirmation when your payment is received via PayPal or check. It will include the code for the pre-arranged room rates at The Lodge at Whitefish and the phone number to call for resrvations. If Laura Taylor cancels for any reason a full refund will be issued to the registered participants. Cancellations received on or before April 1, 2020 will receive the reservation deposit less $100 for a total refund of $800 (less any bank/PayPal fees). Due to the custom nature of the materials prepared and ordered for individual participants, the $900 deposit becomes non-refundable for any cancellation received after April 15, 2020.

Final payment for the retreat is due July 15, 2020.

Laura Taylor is a National Needlepoint instructor with 18 years of experience in teaching project workshops, canvas embellishment, technique classes and private lessons. Her home base shop is Aristeia Needlepoint, located in Santa Monica, California.
