Surrounded by mountains with the pristine waters of Whitefish Lake at their back door and all the amenities of a full-service resort, the Lodge provides the perfect location for our stitching retreat in scenic northwest Montana. Guest rooms in two different categories have been blocked at reduced rates for this event. • Hand-painted needlepoint canvas mounted on stretcher bars, complete thread & supply kit and custom stitch guide

• Authentic Chuck Wagon dinner at a nearby ranch.
Ride in the wagon or on horseback to the ranch if you want to! Spend an evening with the group and enjoy a delicious, over the fire, home cooked meal made just for you!

• Full-day driving tour of Glacier National Park. Start the tour in the great cedar and hemlock forests that lie within the Lake McDonald Valley. Traverse the famed Going-to-the-Sun Road to the high alpine region of the park and stand on top of the Continental Divide. Discover incredible mountain ranges, glaciers, waterfalls, and wildflowers along the way as your Red Bus glides along the glacially carved Garden Wall.

• 1 ½ hour tour of Whitefish Lake aboard The Lady of the Lake

Cost for the Stitch and SightSee Package:  $2100.00 

This cost is for one particiant in the needlepoint class, welcome reception, breakfast on June 22, lunches on class days and planned group activities. Activities and order of events may change at Laura’s discretion.

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake has reserved a block of rooms at the following reduced rates for our event. Additionally, these rates will be honored three days preceding and following our event. Rates are for single or double occupancy. Standard View $212 per night, Partial Lake View $233 per night.

What’s not included in the package:

Airfare, ground transportation, hotel and associated charges, gratuities, meals (except lunches on class days and Chuck Wagon Dinner.) Tickets for activites and meals available for additional charge for spouse and/or friend with advance registration.

Payments and Cancellation Policy, Please read carefully.

You will receive an email confirmation when your payment is received via PayPal or check. It will include the code for the pre-arranged room rates at The Lodge at Whitefish and the phone nuber to call for resrvations. If Laura Taylor cancels for any reason a full refund will be issued to the registered participants. Cancellations received on or before March 1, 2019 will receive the reservation deposit less $100 for a total refund of $600. Due to the custom nature of the materials prepared and ordered for individual participants, the $700 deposit becomes non-refundable for any cancellation received after March 2, 2019. Final payment for the retreat is due March 30, 2109.

Laura Taylor is a National Needlepoint Instructor with 18 years of experience in teaching project workshops, canvas embellishment, technique classes and private lessons. Her home base shop is Aristeia Needlepoint, located in Santa Monica, California.
