What’s included in the Stitch and SightSee Package:

• Welcome Reception on Sunday, October 20th

• Three days of needlepoint class instruction with Laura Taylor

• Hand-painted needlepoint canvas mounted on stretcher bars, complete thread kit and custom stitch guide

• Catered lunch, beverages and dessert provided for each day of class

• Sunset Tour of Fort Sumter including group Dinner

• Three-hour walking culinary tour of Charleston

• Afternoon tour of Middleton Plantation including on-site dinner

• Group visit to Charleston’s needlepoint shop, Cabbage Row

Cost for the Charleston Stitch and SightSee Package: $2,920.00

This cost is for one participant in the needlepoint class, lunches and all planned group activities.

Lodging in Charleston

Rooms are on courtesy hold at the KINGS COURTYARD INN which offers an ideal location to local shops and restaurants. Class and gatherings will be held here as well, in a lovely meeting room with lots of natural light. There will be a complimentary wine and cheese reception every afternoon.

KING COURTYARD INN – Room Rates & Fees

$229 + tax single/double
$25 per person charge for additional guests.
$2 per room, per night “destination marketing fee” not included in room rate.
Parking @ $17 per evening.

Complimentary continental breakfast, daily newspaper, sherry in the lobby and an afternoon wine and cheese reception.

What’s not included in the package:

Airfare, ground transportation, hotel and associated charges, gratuities, meals (except for lunches on class days, Dinner after tour of Fort Sumter and Dinner at Middleton Plantation.)

Payments and Cancellation Policy. Please read carefully. You will receive an email confirmation when your payment is received. It will include the code for the pre-arranged room rates at your hotel. If Laura Taylor cancels for any reason, a full refund will be issued to the registered participant. Cancellations received on or before July 1, 2019 will receive the reservation deposit less $100 for a total refund of $500. Due to the custom nature of the materials prepared and ordered for individual participants, the $600 deposit becomes non-refundable for any cancellation received after July 2, 2019. Final payment for the retreat is due August 1, 2019.

Laura Taylor is a National Needlepoint Instructor with 18 years of experience in teaching project workshops, canvas embellishment, technique classes and private lessons. Her home base shop is Aristeia Needlepoint, located in Santa Monica, California.
